Why we do church the way we do

This passage is key to our understanding and approach to loving one
another well and praying for each other:

“Is anyone among you suffering? He should pray. Is anyone cheerful? He should sing praises. ¹⁴ Is anyone among you sick? He should call for the elders of the church, and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. ¹⁵ The prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up; if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. ¹⁶ Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is very powerful in its effect.”
James 5:13-16

Theology

Identity

Who am I? The essence of our being, as male and female, reflects Divine craftsmanship and confers on us a unique identity and purpose. Genesis 1:27 reminds us, “God created mankind in His own image… male and female He created them.”

Intimacy

How do I grow closer to Christ and build real solid relationships with other believers? Scriptures such as James 4:8 and Hebrews 10:24-25 can guide you in this journey.

Ministry

What am I supposed to be doing with my life? God has given you gifts that He wants you to use. It’s time to discover those gifts and live an eternally purposeful life, as directed by scriptures like 1 Peter 4:10, 1 Corinthians 12:4-7, and Ephesians 2:10.
